The word diet means deprivation to lots of us, but the truth is, the word diet means the normal food and drink for a person or animal. As a long term diet, weightwatchers really is very good. You are not asked to give up any food at all. All foods are given points and you are allowed to have a certain number of points each day. You may find you have 1700 points to spend and you spend them as you wish. Basically a point is about 100 calories and all foods have points, so you eat whatever you want but when you reach your point limit, you stop eating for that day, really quite clever and simple.  I have always thought of the weight watchers as one of the best diets available and the table below shows this, as the weight watchers comes in at number 6. This really is a diet for life, which is what most people need, a diet to make, a life style change.
